Thought a topic for recent game, movie, music and book purchases was in order.
Added a few more games to my collection: TNA Impact! for PS3 Danger Girl and InuYasha: A Feudal Fairy Tale for PS1 Dance Dance Revolution: SuperNova 2 for PS2
And a crap ton of strategy guides. It's becoming my new game collecting focus. I'll post a list of the guides I have with my book collection, which is still coming soon.

Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection
I'm glad to finally have a solid copy of Final Fantasy IV. That it includes The After Years and a new little interlude is just gravy.

Picked up Gran Turismo 5 Prologue for $8 yesterday. With the PS3's wireless controller, the girls should have a blast playing it. That is when I'm not hogging the controller. ;D In other news, beat Firewarrior on the PS2. Another Warhammer 40k game that got sub-par reviews, but I thought it was superb. Insanely difficult even on the normal difficulty level.

I picked up a bunch of the Pathfinder rulebooks (based heavily upon D&D 3.5 edition) a little while back off of Amazon. I spent about $160 for:
Core Rulebook Advanced Player's Guide GameMastery Guide Ultimate Magic Ultimate Combat Bestiary I
By buying these (new) on Amazon, I saved around $90 than if I had bought directly from Paizo or a gaming store. I would have spent around $250. Definitely worth the purchase.

Dang, makes me want to get back the old Shadowrun books that I had in the 90s. Never should have parted ways with them, especially now with all the renewed interest in the property.
I have a received some more strategy guides but also won an X-Files novel. On eBay they are running about $1 to $5 so I am going to pick up a few here and there.

I'd really like to try Shadowrun sometime; I've heard that it's a really cool system. I'm sure I can "acquire" electronic copies of the books somewhere.

GOG.com delivers again. I just finished downloading The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut and it only cost me $4.99.

I wasn't a big fan of The Witcher. I only got to the end of the second chapter, but I wasn't really feeling it.
I've heard 2 is considerably better though.

The controls on the PC feel weird to me but I guess that's because I'm a console kid. Had they ported it like they did the sequel I would have been all over it. Hopefully I'll be able to complete the game and understand the story and characters of the sequel when I get to it.

All I got was Portal 2, but I might get Ys: Oath in Fhelgana yet.

Got a few more strategy guides today as well as a brand new copy of The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena for 360. It includes an enhanced version of Escape From Butcher Bay, which if I remember correctly, was a favorite of our very own Wild Weasel.

You are correct, Red. I actually picked up a copy myself a few months back but loaned it to my bro-in-law before I got a chance to play it. Haven't got it back yet, but no loss seeing as it was my bro-in-law who bought my PS3 and plasma tv.
