So I had to look up who that was and was excited to see that the other guys on his solo album were from the group Submersed. I really loved their In Due Time album from 2004.
Today I got in Spartan: Total Warrior for Xbox and a new book.

The Last Story for Wii came in today, along with 8 strategy guides I got from a guy on the N64 Forever forum. I'm up to almost 170 strategy guides now. Soon I will get them listed in the game collection topic.

Holy geez, I have like... 5 StratGs o.0
Bought Mass Effect 2 last week, and got Batman Arkham City off Amazon yesterday for $30 and no shipping (woo woo).
Definitely do not regret ME2 though. 40 hours on one playthrough, and absolutely love the VA work in that game.

ME2 was great, It sucks that the DLC code they come with has already expired though, since you have to pay $15 for what should have came with the game anyway.

My DLC code worked :/ (didn't even think about it expiring actually, had that with another game ) I don't have the Arrival DLC, but the Cerberus pack or whatever with the comic and that merc guy and some extra missions, I got all those...

Got another ME2 ($10) for a friend of mine, and ME3 (and some other EA titles) are all on sale as well over at Origin's site. Although I noticed ME3 at least is on sale at gamestop too atm for $20 as well. Anyhow, picked up ME3 since it's on the cheap too atm. Last one I'm getting for awhiles I think, cause I realllllly need to keep money stored for the winter and these sales are whooping my butt

I saw that. Pretty sweet deal. Of course, I bought most of mine when they were still regular price but I have also been able to play the game for over 3 years.

Black Friday turned into Brawler Friday with the purchase of Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Bayonetta, and Splatterhouse.
Got them Buy 2 get 1 free at Gamestop since my Walmart didn't have the God of War Saga, which is all I was planning on picking up.

I like Bayonetta. I'll never finish it, but I did like it :/
I bought Ratchet&Clank HD for my sister I didn't buy them all, but incoming games headed my direction: Yakuza Dead Souls, Dark Souls, Dragon Age II, Sports Champions 2, Fallout New Vegas Ultimate, Assassin's Creed III, Mortal Kombat Komplete and one pre-order on Mass Effect Trilogy8)

I picked up WWE '13, Dishonored, Cabela's Survival: Shadows of Katmai and the Sly Cooper HD Collection on the Black Friday sales, and got the Mass Effect Trilogy as well. I've also picked up a bunch of games from eBay but I'll just update my game collection post to reflect all the stuff I've picked up lately.

Thought I'd share a couple recent purchases as they include some games I think a few of our fellow Wenchers really love. First one was Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES for PS2, which I got for about $12. I've never played a single Persona game. Is this stand alone or part of a series arc?
The other purchase was the following games: Dark Cloud, Unlimited Saga, Drakengard, Phantom Brave and Arc The Lad: End of Darkness, all for PS2, and totaling about $45.
Do you guys think I did all right? I know Wild is a big Drakengard fan and I have been wanting to get the Dark Cloud games back in my collection for awhile. The others just seemed like icing on the cake.

Always glad to see someone try out SMT. 3 is stand-alone, with some references to 1 and 2 that aren't really important to the story. It's also one of the most accessible games to the series so it's perfect for newcomers.
I really enjoyed Drakengard as well. A beat 'em up with an incredible amount of weapon choices, all of which can be leveled up makes for some good variety and an incredibly dark story with 5 endings. Between leveling the weapons up and the numerous endings, you can sink a lot of time into it. Makes me sad that Cavia, the people that made the Drakengard series and another one of my favorites Nier, went under. I would have really liked to see a Drakengard 3.
And I've also played Phantom Brave. It's a Nippon Ichi SRPG, so if you've ever played any of them you should know what you're in for. If not, it's an SRPG where your party members are ghosts that you summon using items on the battlefield, like Rocks, trees, etc. and depending on what you used they'll get stat bonuses. Nippon Ichi SRPGs are known for being very grindy and most of them are very similar in gameplay with each of them usually having their own little twist on it.
Never played End of Darkness or Unlimited Saga, but everything else looks good to me.
