Microsoft is going to reveal the new system May 21st. I'm not totally sure if I'm going to watch that atm - but will post the bits as they come
Rumor is it's going to be called Infinity
& The new CoD: Ghosts will be shown off May 21st as well - so I would assume during the reveal

I'll be working that day but not a big deal anyway, for me. I'll be interested to hear specs and see shots of the console but I've no interest in any of the new consoles, as I've already said before. Gonna be odd, though, when I have to look at the games and consoles at work every day.

I had no interest in this generation, but then my brother-in-law went out and bought us a PS3 for Christmas. You never know. *shrugs*

I owned my PS3 for over a year before I ever hooked it up. I'm loving it now that I have access to it. You're right, my man. You just never know.

Yep, not interested at all and little things like online once every 24 hrs. and restricting used games in any way really kill it for me. I could possibly see myself getting a Wii U down the road after price drops and the Zelda U game come out but even that is a stretch for me.

Yeah... This was definitely part of their elaborate marketing scheme. They knew that no one would like the DRM, but they put it on originally to make people pissed off, so that when they eventually took it off, people would love Microsoft for listening to the players.
I'm paranoid...

Thing is, I'm seeing more people complaining about these changes than I ever expected. No one was supporting Microsoft until today and they want the original plan back.
I'm confused...

I like the joke name for the console now, though: Xbox One Eighty.

the X180 jokes craked me up when I saw those as well xD
I think part of the frustration with Microsoft changing their DRM and such is that they're also going to ditch things like the shared games between '10 family members' and what have you.

But, other than digital games and games in the cloud, can you not now share your games with an unlimited number of people now? lol

um, pending whatever DRM publishers themselves put on the discs you can share with friends unlimited in theory.

I read that CEO Don Mattrick, man of a thousand Xbox One jokes, is now moving on to Zynga. That sounds like a real trade up.
