Just popping in to see that no one has popped in for about 3 years. Sadness... The Screaming Wench was an important part of my life in it's heyday. Multiple heydays if I remember correctly. I miss it and I miss you guys. I'm still friends with Nexik on Facebook but Wild and mariolord have disappeared from what I can see. Hope all of you are doing well! Anyway, I'm just waxing nostalgic for all things in my life right now. Shenmue I and II are getting a HD remaster for current gen consoles and a Final Fantasy VII remake is still coming (I hope) so I wish some other things from my past would come back.  |

Its been like... what, 6 years since I've been online? Lost my password for oldsparta, so I created a new account. I'm honestly surprised this is still kicking around. Saw Red on FB, and figured I'd do some digging around to see if this place still existed.
EDIT: huh... only been 4 since I was last on? Damn, thought it was longer.

haiii i was talking to this kid i work with about how the internet used to be... AOL chat rooms, forums everywhere, the fun stuff  anyway that led me to talk about us all getting together at EG and the forum peach spam along the way so i thought i'd stop in here ^^ |

Yay, some life! I still check in occasionally. I actually received a message on Facebook from Wild almost a year ago. Looking at it now I realize he asked me a question and I never responded. I've become really bad at my communication skills with people. Sure would love to see this place, and forums in general, become busy again. I'm in another forum and I'm among maybe five or six people who still actively post but it used to be way more. Damn, getting old and watching things change so much really sucks.

yeah, forums just really aren't a thing at all anymore really, it's nostalgia now we really have lived through an incredible amount of worldly technological changes >.< i usually just check in once in a while when i'm on the computer clicking around.. don't hop on anywhere near like i used to tho. not that i have healthier, new habits but definitely spent too much time in front of the pc over the years  |

You're not kidding about the technological changes and I've seen even more due to my age. I kinda miss mariolord being around to give me shit over my elderly status. He's older too, though, so there's always that.  |

Sorry to hear that, but I hope it gets better. I definitely have my days where I'm just done with it all and I had a lot of that in 2023. 2024 hasn't been great so far but I have hope for improvement, and hopefully soon.
